The Autumn River Festival combines the celebrations of two of the the Swan River’s natural regional partners the City of Bayswater and the City of Belmont. Sunday March 28 will see the waterways and surrounding parks alive with people, entertainment and fantastic family fun. With a range of free family entertainment, environmental information on the river, community information, recreational activities, exhibitions and promotions are the key ingredients in this significant regional event. It is held as part of the Perth's Autumn Festival program, highlighting communities and the enjoyment of the river environment and parklands through this inner metropolitan district. A major project for the City’s of Bayswater and Belmont and the Swan River Trust, the Festival celebrates the Swan River and its communities in full style. The Autumn River Festival can be enjoyed with family and friends at one location or many. With more than 12,000 people attending annually, Key locations of the festival include Garvey Park in the City of Belmont and Riverside Gardens in the City of Bayswater.
